Question about xenon flash light bulbs?
I purchased a Xenon flashlight bulb, it has ratings of 3.6VDC, 800mA and 3.0 MSCP and 36 hours life. What is the maximum voltage from batteries i can run through without burning out this lamp.

I will be surprised if someone actually comes up with an accurate answer for you but even if you simply try different voltages and lose a few bulbs along the way you surely won't come any where near $95.00 but I will tel you that if you try to run 9 volts through the 3.6 volt bulb there is no doubt that it will light very bright but definetly won't last the estimated 36 hours, but why not try to see if it last good enough for you.
but beware of the lens on your flashlight melting like the plastic it is.
