Titleist Golf Balls Pro V1x

I play for my school's golf team and we usually get sleeves of Titleist Pro V1's or Pro V1x's and I also work at a course where about 85% of the players play this ball because they have a lot of money. I often find them around the course and I pick them up but I can't depend solely on that because eventually I will have nothing left in my bag. I am just wondering if anyone knows a ball that is a high performance ball that won't break the bank. If I buy 3 dozen Pro V1's it costs me a whole weeks salary and I don't want to do that so is there a ball that will give me a soft feel around the greens and accuracy? I don't need a solid rock golf ball that will add 15 yards to all my clubs because I am already above average yardage wise I just need more feel around the greens. Is there anything less than about $25-$30 a dozen? And please no stupid answers. What do you all play and how do you like it?
